The Spring 2024 schedule has come & gone at NortheastBSU! The BSU will re-launch August of 2024 with a new BSU Director. Who? We’re not sure yet, but when we know we’ll make an announcement. The next thing on the BSU calendar is a Retirement Reception for Bro. Wayne & Ms. Connie Vandiver, Saturday June 1, 2024, 1-4PM at the Northeast BSU Center. Let us know you are coming on the Facebook Event Page.

Just so you have an idea of what the BSU schedule looked like in the 2023/2024 school year…

  • 268 WORSHIP : Tuesday nights at 6:30PM
This worship time is names after Isaiah 26:8, “Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your Truth, we wait eagerly for You, for Your name and Your renown are the desire of our souls.” Typically we will spend time in prayer, worship, & getting in the scriptures together. 268 would be better with you!
  • MORNING DEVO : Wednesdays 7:20-7:45AM
Come and start the day with other Christ-followers as we focus on Jesus Christ. Many times this is a student led devotion. There is a free breakfast and you will be out in time for your first class.
  • BSU LUNCHEONS : Wednesdays & Thursdays 11:30AM-12:30AM
There are two parts to luncheon. 1) free food for your body & 2) free spiritual food for your soul. Typically Ed leads the Wednesday devotion & Bro. Wayne leads the Thursday devotion. We know that college schedules are crazy so if you need to come late, come on…if you have to dip our early, come on. If at all possible we’d love to see you for the devo because we think its worth it. Luncheon is good free food for the body & soul!

What’s the deal with the free food? Does is cost money to be a part of the BSU?

Everything has a cost and NOTHING is free. However, students do not pay for food at our Luncheons because there are people in local churches who love college students and want to invest in their lives. That’s right. There are some Jesus-loving people in Northeast Mississippi who put their money where their heart is- with college students like you. We think that is pretty awesome.
